It's easy for churches to think of their group struggles as some sort of spiritual liability, as if God will only work through us if we've got it all together.
If only, if only...
But the Secret of Weakness is not primarily about what God is trying to teach us in the midst of our struggles but how God wants to bless others in the midst of our struggles.
People seek out the church, not necessarily because Christians are strong and vibrant and healthy and have it all together, but because the honest Christians have known what it is like to be weak.
Our pain and suffering are not some kind of spiritual liability. They're how God positions us to bless others.
