nyack was fun, but i'm glad i got to come back before the break ended. i finished the rest of my papers in record time, and i think it's the best i could've done. finishing early meant i could play!
tuttle, surprised me & michelle by coming back several hours after me when we least expected it, which was nice. chris, michelle, tuttle & i watched anastasia on tuesday night. chris had never seen it before and i wanted him to learn to do a bartok imitation. it was awesome.
on wednesday i finished my papers and tuttle got his car fixed, and afterwards, tuttle & i ate some yummy belgian waffles and the us plus michelle & steve went to dick's to look at the shoes, the gloves, and whatever else we could find. we left empty-handed, as the shoes were not tuttle's style and the gloves were the ones made for catchers, first-basemen, and teddy bears, or at least little people that size.
but then we went to payless and the bogo sale made tuttle and steve happy. yay for new shoes :]
then michelle and i watched like three or four episodes of one tree hill, finishing up season four. it made me SOOOO happy that princess libby happened to have season five for me to borrow! as michelle would say, sweet deal.
tuttle popped in and watched the season four finale episode with us. buffalo chicken and honey mustard chicken nirchi's pizza was soon ordered and eaten while we sprawled in the front of the tv to watch the end of dream girls and the newest episode of project runway. man, project runway. so good. can't wait to see the collections.
yes, it was a mighty fine break.
of course, the weirdest thing about it was the extreme change of weather since i left. it was pretty humid and warm when i left to go to nyack, of which weather did not change, but when i came back on tuesday, it was like God was shoving the colored trees in my face saying, "hey! times are changing quickly. summer's over and fall is here!"
alright, God, i got the point. it's beautiful :]
on another note, it's time for a hair trim. hopefully humongous will be finishing up the job tonight. i already trimmed my bangs quite a bit, so hopefully together with some layers i'll feel like i won't need to go to flushing to get my hair cut.
gosh, it's freezing cold.
phew. i also just finished the 23rd and last handmade invitations for the freshmen for the sophmen dinner. hopefully they will appreciate it. i'm really excited for the dinner.
ummm....
okay sorry for another boring blog. i haven't been using my creative writing juices lately.
but here, i'll end on an suspenseful note: my pops is coming up to bing to speak @ IV's large group meeting tomorrow!
