so good.

these past few days have been pretty darn awesome. sunday visiting morningstar NY church with christina d and gary, then hanging out and talking with my big brothers boaz and josh, and yesterday hanging out with everyone and visiting nathan's house and going ice skating, and michelle, karen and libby sleeping over last night, it was so good.

so good.

this break has been so good. there's like endless wonderful things God has been teaching me and revealing to me that i'm so grateful for, that it seems like i would deprive myself of those things if let one thing bring it all down. it makes me so happy and excited inside just thinking about them. but it's like...i'm not just thinking about them. i'm living it. God's broken down these walls and not only can i see what's on the other side of the wall...but i've actually taken steps that have brought me to what it's like to live on the other side. and there's no turning back. it's like, i can only move forward from here.

ah, that reminds me of bethany dillon's song, "move forward."

speaking of songs, i've been listening to all my bethany dillon songs lately because i realize i haven't really listened to them in a while. and looking up the words and just listening to her beautiful voice sing the words just reminded me of why i love her voice and her songs. they're really good. and a lot of the songs i used to not be so fond of, i've grown to really like.

and today when i came home i decided to listen to all of jennifer chung's original songs, and not only is her voice like super good and super powerful, but her original music and lyrics are so beautifully and poetically written. and all her songs have touched a tender part of my heart. i admire the gift God's entrusted her with. her voice is so strong and pretty refined i guess and her songs are well written. it inspires me and makes me want to improve my own voice and songwriting more.

ah, music and writing. two things that will always understand me best.
