I'm not depressed, I promise.

But I've been listening to Ella Fitzgerald a lot lately, and I really like her voice and her songs.



And ever since my voice teacher had me practice singing "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles, I've watched a number of her YouTube videos and found a deeper respect for her talent.  She's craaaaaazy good, and I love the spunk and attitude she has in her songs.



I mean, come on, what artist do you know can do this as a cover of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" - and not only re-interpret it, but execute it so well?

It's artists like these two ladies that make me want to throw my hands up and say, "Forget it, I'm not worthy."  Not even close.
